1 Let God arise, and let his | ene•mies be | scattered; ||
let them | 3 also that | hate him | flee be•fore him. ||
2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
2 Like as the smoke vanisheth, so shalt thou | drive • them a- | way; ||
and like as wax melteth at the fire, * so let the ungodly | perish • at the | 3 presence of | God. ||
3 But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.

6 God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

but letteth the | runa•gates con- | 3 tinue in | scarceness. ||
7 O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:
7 O God, when thou wentest forth before the people; * when thou | wentest • through the | wilder•ness, ||
8 The earth shook, and the heavens | dropped • at the | 3 presence of | God; ||
8 The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
† even as Sinai | 3 also was | moved ||
at the presence of | God, who • is the | God of | Isra•el. ||
9 Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.

yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove * that is covered with silver | wings, • and her | feathers • like | gold. ||
14 When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.
14 When the Almighty scattered | kings for • their | sake, ||
then were they as | white as | snow in | Salmon. ||
15 The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan.
15 As the hill of Bashan, | so is | God's hill; ||
even an | high hill, • as the | hill of | Bashan. ||
16 Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the Lord will dwell in it for ever.
16 Why mock ye so, ye high hills? * this is God's hill, in the which it | pleaseth • him to | dwell; ||
yea, the | Lord • will a- | bide in • it for | ever. ||

and the Lord is among them as in the | holy | place of | Sinai. ||
18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.
18 Thou art gone up on high, * thou hast led captivity captive, and received | gifts from | men; ||
yea, even from thine enemies, that the | Lord | God might | dwell a•mong them. ||
19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
19 Praised be the Lord daily, * even the God who helpeth us, and | 3 poureth his | benefits up•on us. ||
20 He is our God, even the God of whom cometh salvation: * God is the | Lord, by | whom we es•cape | death. ||
20 He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death.
21 But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.
21 God shall wound the | 3 head of his | ene•mies, ||
and the hairy scalp of such a one as | 3 goeth on | still • in his | wicked•ness. ||
22 The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:
22 The Lord hath said, I will bring my people again, as I | did from | Bashan; ||

27 There is little Benjamin their ruler, and the princes of | 3 Judah their | council; ||
the princes of Ze- | bulon, • and the | 3 princes of | Naphtha•li. ||
28 Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.
28 Thy God hath sent forth strength for thee; * stablish the thing, O | God, that • thou hast | wrought • in us, ||
29 For thy temple's sake at Jerusalem; * | so shall | kings bring | presents • unto thee. ||

lo, he doth send out his voice; | yea, and | that a | mighty • voice. ||
34 Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.
34 Ascribe ye the power to | God • over | Isra•el; ||
his | 3 worship and | strength is • in the | clouds. ||
35 O God, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.
35 O God, wonderful art thou in thy | holy | places: ||
even the God of Israel, * he will give strength and power unto his | people. | Blessed • be | God. ||
