Psalm 129
1 Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say:
1 Many a time have they fought against me from my youth up, may | Israel • now | say; ||
2 Yea, many a time have they vexed me from my youth up; * | 3 but they have | not pre- | vailed a•gainst me. ||

3 The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.

8 Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the Lord be upon you: we bless you in the name of the Lord.
8 So that they who go by say not so much as, The | Lord | prosper • you; ||
